Baking is still the road less travelled but for the very same reason i am very excited to set onto that journey. At every successful milestone i am amazed and pleased with how much have I achieved. These beautiful golden, juicy, crisp Apple and Peach Pie Rolls were a reason enough to celebrate another milestone of the sublime journey. Today I had actually set off to do just a nice peach pie but only a few minutes through the way I added the classic variant with apples and by the time I was actually rolling out my dough I decided to roll it up into pie roll (the Swiss roll way)instead. The result was ‘gorgeous and classy’ in Mr. H’s words as he mumbled in between licking the fork.
