The Paris Photo Post:
It’s how we saw and captured the city in a few frames while walking down the lanes of Paris.
It’s like a dream, tracing our own steps through the beautiful French cities on our ‘voyage en France. A trip that fittingly started at the city of Love Paris, and between all the rush to savour as much as we can of this beautiful city in 3 days I could hardly find time to share a single post. Today sitting the on my balcony overlooking into the expanse of the Mediterranean Sea I had a little time at hand before I step out for another French dinner, so here’s a quick post sharing a little from our trip through the city of Love. Oh well in case you are stuck at the sea part I must tell that we have already reached Nice, a scenic port city located to the south of France but about that in a different post.
The grandeur of Eiffel – the city from the summit of the tower, the breathtaking illuminated Eiffel at night and a spectacular night cruise on the Seine river traversing through the city. I am falling short of adjectives and time too so let me leave you to enjoy some of my amateur clicks.
How can I miss those great food streets, below are a few around St Michel (near the Notre Dame or the Latin quarters) and other great cafe perched near the Eiffel on avenue de Suffern. Do walk a few extra yards to avenue de la Motte Picquet after your tour effiel to find some great patissier and boulangeries, no pics here as it strated drizzling as we reached there. Well, a country where food lies at the centre of its culture, every yard that you walk through it will surprise you with an inviting cafe or brassiere, there are just too many often to the extent of confusing. So think, read the menu, decide and once you’ve taken your seat it’s about good food and good vine to keep company with some great conversations.
The 18th century Roman architectural genius in the Notre Dame Cathedral, while it’s another thing that architectural spell is embedded across the entire country in all its monuments, take a look. Could not capture the Arc De Troimphe and the Lovure Museum due to unexpected showers through the day two, but their imposing beauty are imprinted in our mind’s eye forever.
